Peer Review Policy
Al-Turath Medical Journal (ATMJ) employs a double-blind peer-review process for all submitted manuscripts. Under this policy, the identities of both the authors and the reviewers remain strictly confidential throughout the evaluation process.
Responsibilities for Anonymization:
It is the authors' responsibility to ensure that their manuscripts and any accompanying supplementary materials are fully anonymized prior to submission:
-
Identifying Information: Author names, affiliations, email addresses, and any other identifying details must be removed from the main manuscript file, tables, figures, and supplementary documents.
-
Title Page: A separate Title Page containing author names, affiliations, corresponding author contact information, acknowledgments, funding sources, and conflict-of-interest statements must be submitted separately.
-
Self-Citations: Authors should avoid self-citations in a manner that could potentially reveal their identity to the reviewers.
